1. Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden offers an ever-changing sensory experience for garden lovers with a variety of native and exotic plant material in exciting compositions of form, color and texture. Botanical signage discusses the merits of specific plants and a series of path lights allow the garden to be enjoyed day and night.

2. Children's Garden

Play areas and imaginative features such as a fountain, a child-scale amphitheater, sand area, family-size restroom, movable furniture, a water fountain, storytelling deck around a large Oak tree, a special play structure and rolling berms throughout the garden create a sense of mystery and wonder around every corner.

Oak groves along the perimeter of the site provide an architectural rhythm along the streetscape and insulate the remainder of the park from the activity of the street.

On-street parking will be available around the perimeter of the Park with additional parking in the Arts District and Uptown.

3. Great Lawn

With a 3,000-person capacity, the Park's Great Lawn will be host to many events, including weddings, concerts, performance art, festivals, sports games and the occasional kite flight.

4. Reading & Game Rooms

A garden courtyard of movable tables and chairs that provide visitors with flexible seating that can accommodate changing patterns of use throughout the day.

16. Donor Recognition Wall

A handsome courtyard contains a monument commemorating the donors whose generosity enabled the construction of the Woodall Rodgers Park.

5. Harwood Plaza

The main entrance to the park from the homes and shops of Uptown and serves as an overflow for festivities occurring in the nearby restaurant.

6. Arts Plaza

The main entrance to the park from the Arts District adjacent to the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center.

11. Chase Promenade

Chase Promenade is the primary pedestrian spine that connects all areas of the park. The 15’ wide path is planted with Pond Cypress trees, providing a continuous tree canopy that offers park users shelter from the Texas sun. At night, lights set into the three grates transform the trees into a dramatic sculptural composition that carves its way through the park.

7. Restaurant

A simple, open garden pavilion that physically and visually connects visitors to the surrounding park landscape. The glass walls, skylights and ceiling coffers are designed to be as light and visually open as possible to allow for an uninterrupted view from within the pavilion to the outside.

8. Muse Family Performance Pavilion

The performance pavilion and stage will provide a unique venue for a wide variety of performance groups and entertainment. When no performances are scheduled, the pavilion will provide a shaded picnic pavilion for the park visitors and provide a commanding view to the Event Lawn.

A reflection pool and an interactive water feature.

A secondary location for park events and activities.

12. Boone Family Dog Park

A comfortable, safe environment for dogs to socialize and play off of their leashes. This provides enough room for an enthusiastic game of catch for a number of dogs and their owners. At the center of the park, an interactive fountain creates water arches that play leapfrog between a series of small basins.

13. Pearl Street Water Sculpture

Conceived as a signature feature of the park, the icon fountain is inspired by the sculptural form of a Calla Lily. The fountain is a tall structure of stacked glass and features three separate water events– a reflecting pool, a “rain” event and an interior cascade.

This Site may utilize public forums, which may include blogs, forums, message boards and other interactive features. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas is not protected as confidential and becomes public information. Abuse of Terms of Service Agreement
We have the right to share your name and contact information with our attorneys and law enforcement officials, if needed, in the event we believe you have breached our Terms of Service Agreement.

The user that created the account for a user is responsible for maintaining the secrecy of a users unique password and account information at all times.

Security
We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure.

All donations are processed utilizing PayPal which has its own privacy policies that relate to the data they process. Please click here to review their privacy policies.

Information you elect to post on the Site, e-mails and other information you send to us, except that which you send us on a secure page, is not encrypted and such transmissions cannot be considered a secure means of transmitting sensitive information. The Park will never ask you to submit your financial data, such as your credit card account numbers, via e-mail. It should be noted that The Park utilizes third party vendors for commercial transactions. Specifically, The Park utilizes PayPal, which provides its own detailed Privacy Policy and User Agreement. Please review those policies carefully before you disclose any personal information.

Age Restrictions; Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If The Park obtains actual knowledge that it has obtained personal information about a child under the age of 13, that information is immediately and permanently deleted from our records.

This Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) constitutes a valid, binding contract between you and Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, a Texas nonprofit corporation (“The Park”), the owner and operator of www.theparkdallas.org, with respect to the use of this website (the “Site”). Your access to the Site is provided subject to compliance with the terms of this Agreement and Your use of this Site signifies and constitutes your acceptance of this Agreement, as it may be amended from time to time. Please read this Agreement carefully as it forms a binding contract between you and The Park. Please print a copy of this agreement for your records.

The Park takes the issue of privacy on the Internet very seriously. To view our privacy statement, click here. If you access certain services on our Site, such as portions of the Site which may require registration or log-in for access, then you may also be subject to other applicable rules and policies which are available on the log-in pages for the applicable interactive services.

Violating this Agreement may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing this Agreement.

User Communications and Unsolicited Idea Submission
By voluntarily submitting electronic communications (including pictures and anecdotes) to or through the Site, you agree that such submissions are non-confidential for all purposes and agree to any information you provide being stored in a database. Please note, it is The Park’s policy not to review or consider ideas, suggestions, or proposals other than those we specifically request. The intent of this policy is to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings if activities of The Park might be similar or even identical to your idea. Third Party Copyrights
The Park respects the intellectual property of authors and creators of written works and visual images and we ask our users to do the same. A copyright exists in nearly all text, images and artwork.
